GTL Fischer-Tropsch (Synthetic) Waxes
High-purity synthetic waxes via the Gas-to-Liquid process — sourced through our Sasol partnership
Product description
GTL Fischer-Tropsch (FT) waxes are high-performance synthetic waxes produced through the Gas-to-Liquid (GTL) process, converting natural gas into ultra-pure hydrocarbon chains via the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis route. Unlike petroleum-derived waxes, FT waxes are characterized by an exceptionally linear molecular structure, high crystallinity, and a narrow molecular weight distribution — properties that translate directly into superior batch-to-batch consistency, tighter melt rheology control, and cleaner processing behavior. With near-zero sulfur and aromatics content, FT waxes produce minimal odor and are among the purest wax materials available for industrial use. WME supplies GTL FT waxes — sourced through our key partnership with Sasol — in standard and functionalized grades, available in pastilles, flakes, and coarse or micronized powder to suit diverse processing requirements.
Sourced via Sasol partnership. Sasol's GTL wax range is globally recognized for its exceptional purity, process consistency, and performance reliability — giving WME customers access to one of the world's benchmark FT wax suppliers.
