Paraffin Waxes
Fully & semi-refined grades from 52°C to 70°C — including food-contact, chewing gum & pharmaceutical grades
Product description
Paraffin waxes are refined hydrocarbon waxes derived from crude oil, composed predominantly of straight-chain saturated hydrocarbons with a controlled melting range and well-defined crystal structure. WME supplies both fully refined and semi-refined paraffin wax grades across a broad melting point spectrum — from 52°C to 70°C — giving formulators precise control over hardness, flexibility, and processing behavior. With their cost-effective profile and wide compatibility, paraffin waxes serve as the workhorse wax in countless industrial formulations: acting as moisture barriers in packaging and coatings, modifying viscosity in adhesive systems, and providing controlled crystallization in candle manufacturing. For more demanding end uses, WME also offers food-contact, chewing gum, and pharmaceutical-grade paraffin waxes complying with USP and Ph. Eur. (BP) pharmacopoeia standards. Available in pastilles, slab form, and liquid, our paraffin wax range is stocked across the MENA region for fast and reliable delivery.
